The Role:

We are proud to be supporting a well-established and forward-thinking motor trade business in the Bristol area, now seeking to expand their workshop team with the addition of a qualified Vehicle Technician.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a structured and supportive environment, offering a 4-day working week with a rolling weekday off - giving you a full day back, every week, to support work-life balance without sacrificing income or workshop hours.

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs

Performing diagnostic and fault-finding work

Ensuring high standards of workmanship across all tasks

Working to manufacturer guidelines and workshop targets

Supporting and mentoring apprentices if required

Accurately completing job cards, reports, and compliance checks

About You:

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential

Previous main dealer experience is preferred, but not essential

Strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving ability

Capable of working efficiently and professionally in a busy workshop

A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn

Full UK driving licence

Package & Benefits:

£30,000 - £35,000 basic salary (depending on experience)

Strong OTE with clear performance structure, quoted up to £40,000!

4-day working week (Monday - Saturday rota):

Weekday off rotates weekly (e.g. Week 1 – Monday off, Week 2 – Tuesday off, etc.)

Working hours: 7:30am – 6:00pm (30-minute lunch)

Saturday mornings required as part of rota
