Vehicle/Service Technician - Eastleigh

The Role:

Are you a Level 2 or 3 qualified Vehicle/Service Technician looking to take the next step in your career?

Our client, an established and growing used car sales organisation, located around the outskirts of Southampton are seeking a Vehicle/Service Technician to join their team. Full training and career progression on offer, as well as a thriving, collaborative working environment.

Salary: OTE £40,000 plus overtime!

Opportunity to earn up to £125 a week in bonuses plus uncapped overtime!

Hours: 5 days on 5 days off, 5 days on 5 days off, 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern. Meaning you only work 15 days per month!

Hours of work are 6am to 6pm covering an average of 40.25 hours per week.

We are looking for Level 2 or 3 Vehicle/Service Technicians to inspect, diagnose, repair, service and maintain vehicles to a good quality standard as specified by the manufacturers or warranty requirements at our Preparation Centre.

Areas of Responsibility: -

To carry out the company inspection process as detailed on the checklist, noting all areas requiring repair or service.

To repair vehicle faults as identified either by the checklist or during the repair process.

To use the company system to request parts for vehicles.

To ensure the efficient and effective use of workshop facilities and equipment.

To determine priorities and allocate tasks in liaison with the Supervisor.

To be able to undertake a full range of workshop duties.
