Trainee Service Advisor - Southampton

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established motor trade dealership group, with a site based in Southampton. Our client is looking to welcome a Trainee Service Advisor to their busy aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a long-term career in the motor trade, within a supportive and structured environment.

Responsibilities of a Trainee Service Advisor:

Welcoming customers and booking vehicles in for service, MOT, and repair work.

Accurately recording customer and vehicle information while following dealership processes.

Supporting the service team and keeping customers informed throughout the service process.

The Ideal Candidate:

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes.

Previous customer service and/or administration exposure (motor trade experience not essential).

A confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner.

Holds a clean UK driving licence.

Willing to work full-time and keen to build a career in a customer-focused role.

Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to a positive working environment.

The Package:

Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 6:00pm - 1 hour lunch break

No weekends!

£25,300 – £29,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
