MET Technician - Poole

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are on the search for an experienced MET Technician for our client based in Poole.

Our client is an established motor trade bodyshop group who are an approved & authorised repairer for multiple manufacturers. This business now seeks an MET Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. 

Responsibilities & Requirements of a MET Technician:

Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical and trim items on both passenger and commercial vehicles. Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repairs. 

Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines.

Ensure the highest standard of repairs are carried out to the manufacturer’s specification, specifically relating to fitting and trimming. Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repairs.

A suitable MET Technician would possess either a Level 3 technical qualification with an interest in transitioning their skills to the body shop environment, or prior experience in a transferable role within a body shop setting.

My client would also consider a qualified Vehicle Technician or recently qualified individual who wants to learn and progress within MET.

Package:

Salary up to £40,000 (depending on experience) + time saved bonus

Monday – Friday working week 44 hours per week.

No weekends!!
