Automotive, Workshop, Aftersales & Customer ServiceSilcom Recruitment is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to join a highly respected main dealership group at their premium used car site in Horsham. Our client is known for its exceptional standards in customer service and dedication to the motor trade industry. As they expand, they are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to provide direct support to the After Sales Manager and contribute to their continued success.
The Role: As a Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle service booking through to completion. Your role will include parts involvement, making this an ideal position for an individual who values variety and collaboration within the motor trade environment.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:
Provide outstanding customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships.
Coordinate service appointments and keep customers informed on vehicle status.
Act as a direct support to the After Sales Manager to enhance daily operations.
Assist with parts enquiries and contribute to parts sales as required.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of service and parts activities.
Collaborate with service and parts teams to maximise efficiency and productivity.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade industry.
Familiarity with aftersales and parts operations.
Strong communication, customer service, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
The Package:
Salary: Up to £30,000 Basic (experience dependent), plus bonus.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am to 6:00pm) No weekends, for a balanced work-life schedule.
