The Role:

Are you an experienced Sales Administrator within the motor trade looking for the next step in your career? Or perhaps you’re already leading a team and seeking a fresh challenge? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

We are working with a leading motor trade business that is looking to recruit a Sales Admin Team Manager to oversee a team of four administrators. Based in Colchester, this role requires a highly organised and proactive individual who can drive efficiency, support the team, and ensure all administrative processes run smoothly.

Responsibilities & Requirements Of A Sales Admin Team Manager:

Managing and supporting a team of 4 Sales Administrators, ensuring workloads are distributed effectively

Overseeing the processing of vehicle sales, registrations, invoicing, and compliance paperwork

Working closely with Sales, Aftersales, and Accounts teams to ensure a seamless customer journey

Monitoring and improving admin processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Providing training and development support to the team

Occasionally visiting other sites (North London, Bury St Edmunds & Ipswich) to check in on the admin teams and ensure consistency across the group

Requirements:

Automotive administration experience (e.g., Sales Administrator, Fleet Administrator, or similar)
A strong understanding of motor trade sales admin processes
Leadership qualities – whether you’ve already led a team or are ready to step up

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

A proactive approach and willingness to travel to other sites when required (Company Car provided)

Package:

Salary - £35,000 to £40,000 basic salary + Company Car

Hours – Monday to Friday – 40 Hour Week.
