Parts Advisor - Fareham

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are currently on the hunt for a Parts Advisor to join an established and loyal client of ours based in Fareham. Our client has been proudly delivering over 25 years in the motor retail industry, and as one of the country’s most progressive motor groups.

The preferred candidate will hold motor trade experience; however, this is not essential.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Parts Advisor:

Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles.

Provide expert advice and guidance on product availability, pricing, and specifications.

Process orders for parts and ensure accurate and timely delivery to customers or internal departments.

Manage and maintain inventory levels, including stock checks and reordering as necessary.

Collaborate with service and repair teams to ensure they have the necessary parts for scheduled work.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to parts orders or availability.

Keep detailed records of transactions, orders, and inventory using the company’s software systems.

Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers and colleagues.

Ensure the parts department is organised, clean, and complies with health and safety standards.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to enhance business opportunities.

Package:

Basic Salary: £24,000 + workshop bonus of up to £600 a month [£31,000 OTE UNCAPPED]!!

Hours: Monday – Friday [8:00am – 5:30pm]!!

Alternate Fridays (when a Saturday is worked) 4:30pm finish!!

Assist customers at the counter on Saturdays in a relaxed and manageable environment!!

Profit share bonus scheme which is a percentage of gross profit for the Parts Department.
