Dealership Accountant - Weston-Super-Mare

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are currently seeking a determined new Dealership Accountant to work at a growing and well-respected motor group dealership located at their head site based in Weston-Super-Mare.

To fit this business, the Dealership Accountant must have a productive and efficient attitude, deep skills in excel and in dealing with management accounts. A Dealership Accountant for such a business should have excellent business awareness and intelligence, as well as having the will and ability to work with prestigious business partners, managing various projects.

This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Dealership Accountant to take full ownership of the accounting function for an exciting, growing business!

Role and Responsibilities of a Dealership Accountant:

Ensure that management accounts are submitted accurately and to the specified deadlines

Review final accounts and highlight variants with management team

Support senior management in specific investigations into departmental management accounts

Produce all statutory information accurately and to the specified deadlines

Assist the auditors as required in producing information to generate statutory accounts

Manage the cash flow and funding requirements of the business and produce reports for the senior management

Manage the stock reconciliation process in line with the needs of the company

Produce accurate composite reports and submit in a timely fashion

{Motor trade experience preferable but by no means essential}

The Package: 

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Basic + Other excellent benefits  

Hours: [Full-Time] Monday - Friday / 8:30am – 5:30pm
