Senior Accounts Assistant - Exeter

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is seeking a Senior Accounts Assistant to join an established client of ours located in Exeter.

The ideal Senior Accounts Assistant will hold motor trade experience; this could also be a superb opportunity for an experience Accounts Assistant looking for that next step up.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Senior Accounts Assistant:

Supervising, supporting and developing three members of the accounts team.

Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Processing and reconciling bank statements.

Completing regular bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

Carrying out credit control duties and following up outstanding payments.

Supporting month-end processes and the preparation of management accounts.

Assisting with journals, accruals and prepayments.

Salary:

Basic Salary of £30,000.

Study support offered.

Monday to Friday hours [37.5 hour week] – Flexible (9:00-5:00) (8:30-4:30) etc.
