Regional Dealership Accountant - Banbury-Oxford-Swindon

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is excited to announce an excellent opportunity for an experienced Dealership Accountant to join a leading automotive dealership group as a Regional Dealership Accountant. Based in Banbury and covering Oxford and Swindon, you will support a team of five across three sites. This role is ideal for a finance professional with a strong motor trade background who is ready to oversee and enhance financial operations across multiple dealership locations.

Motor trade experience essential.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Regional Dealership Accountant:

Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for three car dealership sites, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.

Produce profit and loss reports, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules for each site.

Analyse performance across sales, service and parts departments, highlighting variances against budgets and forecasts.

Work closely with dealership management to explain financial results, identify opportunities to improve profitability and support informed business decisions.

Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitoring costs and investigating significant variances.

Oversee month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, journals and intercompany reconciliations.

Package:

Basic Salary: £60,000 + £6,000 Bonus + Company Car!!

Monday to Friday hours 8:00 – 6:00
