The Role:
Silcom Recruitment are on the hunt for an experienced Assistant Accountant based in Whiteley, with two to three years’ experience in a bookkeeping or accounting position.
The preferred candidate should possess expertise in handling various currencies, managing cash, performing month-end accounting tasks, and conducting balance sheet reconciliations.
Responsibilities & Requirements of an Assistant Accountant:
Execute month-end close tasks, encompassing journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and monthly billing reporting.
Handle manual billing for Generic Credits, FX rebills, Buy sell, Transaction fees, and Ad hoc invoices.
Manage cash for 15+ bank accounts and perform reconciliations at month-end.
Exercise complete control over their small companies, overseeing processes from billing to month-end close.
Reconcile significant partner accounts on a monthly basis.
Collaborate with the Corporate Head Office to establish agreement on intercompany transmittals across all entities.
Work with the Treasury department to process manual payments through the bank.
Cooperate with the finance team to pursue company debts on a monthly basis.
Address ad hoc requests as needed.
The Package:
£30,000 Basic Salary [Experience Dependent]
Monday to Friday flexible hours
[09:00am – 5:30pm | 08:00am – 4:30pm | 9:00am – 6:00pm]
