Workshop Controller - Chichester

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are supporting our client, an ever-expanding dealer group with the hire of a Workshop Controller for their high performing dealership based in the Chichester area. Due to their successful expansion and an increase in workload, this is a new but crucial role in overseeing and co-ordinating the efficient operation of the workshop.

Our ideal candidate will need to have current or previous automotive experience within a similar Workshop Controller position; they can also consider someone in a Service Advisor position seeking a step up in their career.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Workshop Controller:

Manage and coordinate daily workshop activities, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks to maintain

Allocate work to technicians, taking into account their skill sets and workload.

Monitor progress and quality of work, providing support and guidance when necessary.

Liaise with the front of house aftersales team to ensure a seamless flow of information and communication.

Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.

Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.

The Package:

Up to £36,000 Basic Salary [Experience Dependent] + £42,000 Bonus!

Monday to Friday [8:00 – 18:00] + 1 Hour Lunch + Rota’d Saturdays [8:00 – 13:00]
