Vehicle Technician - Fareham

The Role:

Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to join a friendly, established and busy independent garage? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Our client, a well-established automotive repair and servicing business based in Fareham, is looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join their growing team. Working on a wide range of makes and models, you'll be carrying out everything from routine servicing and general repairs to more complex diagnostics and mechanical work.

Offering Monday to Friday working hours, no weekends and a supportive workshop environment, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Technician looking for a varied role within a reputable independent garage.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.

Complete repairs including brakes, clutches, suspension, timing belts and exhaust systems.

Carry out vehicle inspections, MOT preparation and any necessary remedial work.

Undertake MOT testing if qualified, although this is not essential.

Identify additional work required and communicate findings clearly to the workshop team.

Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Maintain accurate job records and follow workshop health and safety procedures.

Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, ideally with strong hands-on experience.

Have a full UK driving licence and a positive, team-focused attitude.

The Package:

Up to £45,000 Basic – Experience Dependent.

Monday to Friday – No Weekends!
