The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are representing a local, very well established independent garage who currently seek an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team.

Due to continued success & and growth to the team, they now seek an experienced Vehicle Technician &to join their team on a full time permanent basis. 

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Carrying out servicing/inspection and repairs to a wide variety of vehicles

Conducting diagnostic work using a variety of different equipment

Undertaking repairs on gearboxes, warranty repairs, cambelts, brakes, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.

Inspecting and testing vehicle systems to find any problems with the driving system

Key requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ workshop/garage as a vehicle technician.

Full UK drivers’ licence

Excellent working experience in carrying out diagnostic & fault finding on a variety of vehicles

Experience in carrying out general servicing & inspection on a variety of vehicles

Must show enthusiasm, good initiative and be self-motivated, independent and hard working.

Package:

Up to £34,000 Basic Salary (dependent on experience)  + bonus + fantastic company benefits.

Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 17.30pm 

Friday 8.30am- 16.30pm

NO WEEKENDS!
