Vehicle Technician - Outskirts of Christchurch

The Role:

Are you a skilled, Level 2 Vehicle Technician looking for a change?

Silcom Recruitment are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join a well-known client of ours based on the outskirts of Christchurch. We are seeking candidates qualified at Level 2 minimum; however, our client is open to considering those at Level 2 and provide the necessary training. Our client has access to Bosche approved level training for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Perform routine maintenance and servicing on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles.

Conduct vehicle inspections and identify potential issues or areas of concern.

Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.

Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs needed and provide cost estimates.

Package:

Basic Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + Guaranteed bonus for 3 - 6 months!!

Hours: Monday to Friday [8:00am - 5:00pm] + (1-in-3) Saturdays (Half Day)!!

[Potentially transitioning to a Monday - Friday schedule! While not immediate, our client is actively working towards eliminating weekend working]!!!
