Vehicle Technician - Exeter

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking, dealership group, based in Exeter, offering an unmissable opportunity for an experienced and driven Vehicle Technician.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and mechanical upgrades to a high standard

Work across a range of vehicles – from performance and prestige marques to all makes and models

Confidently use diagnostic tools and manufacturer-level systems for accurate fault finding

Maintain methodical working practices and accurate job card completion

Collaborate with the workshop team to support a high-performing, customer-focused environment

Embrace training and continuous learning in line with the latest vehicle technologies

A full UK driving licence is essential

Previous experience with specialist or performance vehicles is a bonus, but not essential

The Bonus & Earnings Structure:

This role is heavily focused on rewarding you for the effort you put in:

£35,000 basic salary

Realistic OTE of £70,000 - £80,000, driven by a transparent and uncapped bonus scheme based on your productivity & efficiency

The faster and more accurately you work, the more you earn – simple as that

The Package:

Salary: £35,000 basic | £70,000 - £80,000 OTE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
