VDA Estimator - Reading

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are immediately seeking a VDA Estimator for a well-respected independent group based in the Reading area. This is a reliable family run business, established for over 34 years, highly acclaimed within the city. The ideal VDA Estimator will have developed technical skills, knowledge and experience of body and paint repair in the retail accident and repair industry. Responsibilities & Requirements of a VDA Estimator:

Conduct vehicle inspections for damages.

Evaluate the complete damage extent, repair expenses, and time frames.

Determine the appropriate repair method and create, maintain electronic and manual estimates.

Efficiently communicate and coordinate with insurance companies to obtain authorization for vehicle repairs based on estimated costs.

Effectively collaborate with customer engineers and technicians to explain and ensure their comprehension of the repair process.

Generate work that adheres to superior technical and quality standards and prioritizes fulfilling service commitments to customers.

The ideal candidate will hold ATA qualifications or similar equivalent qualifications.

Package:

Salary: £25,000 - £45,000 Basic + Profit based bonuses!!

Hours: [Full-Time] Monday – Friday (7:45am – 5:30pm)

(1-in-2) Saturdays: (8:00am – 12:00pm)

Note:

In the event that an individual lacks the requisite experience, comprehensive one-on-one training can be offered, covering the necessary qualifications. Moreover, relevant experience in roles such as Parts Advisor, Technician, or Service Advisor may be deemed transferable.

As trainees, a salary ranging between £25,000 and £30,000, supplemented with a bonus component will be offered!!
