Used Car Sales Controller - Basingstoke

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced or aspiring Used Car Sales Controller, to join an established, main dealership group. Our client is located in Basingstoke, and represent a household name, working with a small team of five Sales Executives.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Take full ownership of the finance and insurance function within the sales department.

Focus on managing and converting customer renewals, maximising retention and profitability.

Present and sell finance, insurance, warranties, and additional products in a professional and compliant manner.

Support the sales team in structuring competitive and profitable deals.

Ensure all finance documentation is accurate and fully compliant with FCA regulations and company standards.

Monitor F&I penetration rates and drive continuous performance improvement.

Deliver an exceptional customer journey from proposal through to vehicle handover.

Must possess a valid UK driver’s licence.

The Package:

£35,000 Basic – £60,000+ On Target Earnings Potential!!

Five Day Working Week - 

Monday to Friday – 8:30am - 6:00pm - Day off in the week.

Saturday – 8:30am - 5:00pm

Sunday - 10:00am - 4:00pm - You work 1 in 2 Sundays (which in turn gives you an additional day off in the week).

Team of five sales executives - looking to go to six.
