Transaction Manager - Outskirts of Southampton

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to join a well-established, family-run automotive dealer group, representing a popular and growing manufacturer, based in Southampton.

Our client has built an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding customer service, offering a fantastic range of new and used vehicles within a modern, professional dealership environment.

We are looking for candidates who are experienced Business Managers, Transaction Managers, Sales Controllers, Senior Sales Executives or Retail Managers within the motor trade, who are looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Oversee and manage the vehicle sales transaction process, ensuring a smooth customer journey from initial enquiry through to vehicle handover.

Maximise finance, insurance and additional product sales through effective presentation and FCA-compliant selling techniques.

Work closely with the Sales Manager and sales team to improve conversion rates, achieve sales targets and maximise dealership profitability.

Structure and negotiate vehicle deals, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved whilst maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Ensure all finance documentation and sales paperwork are completed accurately and in accordance with FCA guidelines and company procedures.

Monitor sales performance, finance penetration and additional product opportunities, identifying areas for improvement.

Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, excellent communication skills and a proven track record within a main dealership environment.

The Package:

£35,000 Basic + realistic £65,000 OTE uncapped, company car, plus fantastic company benefits.

Monday to Friday 8:30am-18:00pm with a day off during the week. Saturdays 9:00am-17:00pm, No Sundays and every other weekend off!
