Used Car Buyer - South Coast of England

The Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established local motor trade organisation based on the South of England on the Dorset/ Hampshire Border. Our client is seeking a proven and successful Used Car Buyer who will assist in the major uplift project of our used car sales operation. This role will be remote so you can be based anywhere on the south coast in the Dorset/ Hampshire region.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for purchasing the majority of the used stock for 3 sites.
• You must have your finger on the pulse of the used car market, have in-depth understanding of used car trends and be able to manage the diverse needs of each branch to ensure the stock mix is correct at each location.  
• You will be organised, an excellent communicator and be able to solve logistical problems as they arise.
• You must be able to work on your own initiative and have drive to achieve.
• You need to be able to build on existing relationships with the dealer network / auction houses.
• The successful candidate must adhere to and assist with our strict over age vehicle policy.
• The role will be responsible for all trade sales, which is another area of our business our client is looking to expand upon.

The Package:

Salary £40,000 basic (experience dependant) with an OTE of £80,000 plus company benefits including, Car, with fuel, phone, laptop and other company perks.
