Trainee Purchase Ledger Clerk - Fareham

The Role:

A superb opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an established motor trade business, based around the outskirts of Fareham.

Due to a period of continued growth, our client, a new and used franchised car dealership group, is actively seeking a proactive individual to join their accounting function, on a permanent basis. Working as part of an established team, our client is willing and able to afford training to like-minded individuals. The ideal Trainee Purchase Ledger Clerk will possess the following attributes: 

Willingness to learn and develop within an accounting function

Educational experience towards accounting (AAT studier)

Previous experience an advantage but not necessary (1-2 years)

Responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger

Data Input

To build strong working relations with suppliers and participate in meetings as required

Balancing of supplier statements for nominated accounts

Any other related activities/reporting as required.

The Package:

Monday to Friday - (8:00-5:00) with an hour for lunch.

Starting salary £18,000.
