Trainee Accounts Assistant - Leamington Spa

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are recruiting on the behalf of a motor trade dealership group, with a site based around the outskirts of Leamington Spa. Our client is currently seeking a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their established accounting function. This will be a permanent position with plenty of long-term progression opportunities.

We're ideally seeking an individual who is keen and driven to build a career within Accountancy & Finance. With full study support on offer for the successful applicant, this is a unique opportunity on offer.

Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor & Dealership Accountant, you will be responsible for the following: 

Responsibilities:

Initially you will be trained in handling and processing all bank posting and reconciliations. You would be fully trained in this area to start with and this would be the main aspect of your role. Moving forward you will learn further aspects of the role and shadow colleagues and learn 'on the job'

To be successful in this role you will be able to:

Demonstrate an ability to process high volumes in a timely and accurate manner

Be computer literate

Able to work to deadlines in a sometimes pressurised environment

Have the focus to sometimes work alone as well as part of a wider team

Be a clear and confident communicator

Demonstrate a genuine desire to further progress your career within an Accounts environment

Package:

Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00

£18,000 basic salary, plus superb company benefits - progression opportunities on offer.
