The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced automotive Service Advisor, to join a main dealership based in Swindon that in recent years, have been awarded ‘Best Dealer Group of the Year’ for six consecutive years and crowned ‘Retailer of the Year’ in 2024.

You will be the front line of customer service, liaising with clients, technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless service experiences.

The ideal Service Advisor would need to have previous experience in a similar role within the motor trade industry.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Manage customer arrivals and departures, providing updates throughout the day and promoting additional services.

Generate invoices, accept payments, and explain detailed work and any additional findings by technicians.

Rotate through administrative responsibilities, focusing on front desk duties, including booking and paperwork checks.

Using online bookings, phone calls, and in-person interactions, to schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and vehicle pick-ups with customers, using our in-hours and manufacturer systems and processes

The Package:

Basic Salary: £27,500 + up to £800 bonus per month!!

Hours: Monday to Friday [8:00am –  18:00pm]

Saturdays [1 in 4] [08:30am – 12:30pm]

Benefits: 31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays), Life insurance of 2 x salary, Opportunities for training and career progression.
