The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is actively seeking a Service Advisor on behalf of one of our top clients, a reputable motor trade dealership group located in Salisbury. Our client is in search of a Service Advisor to become an integral part of their well-established and high-performing service team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals either with prior customer-facing experience or those looking to start a career in the motor trade — full brand training will be provided.

As a Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the service department, ensuring an exceptional customer experience from initial contact through to vehicle collection.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor:

Act as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop team, ensuring clear communication and a seamless service experience

Greet customers on arrival and perform vehicle check-ins, reviewing relevant customer and vehicle data

Provide regular updates to customers regarding repair status and additional service recommendations

Coordinate with technicians to manage workshop flow and ensure timely completion of work

Maintain accurate records, job cards, and documentation

Deliver excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the phone

Previous experience in a customer service role is essential; motor trade experience is beneficial but not required – full training will be provided

Package:

Salary: £27,000 + Bonus (Realistic & achievable £31,000+ package.

Monday to Friday [8:00am – 5:30pm]

1 in 3 Saturdays [8:30am – 12:30pm]
