Vehicle Technician - Christchurch

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a valued client based in Christchurch, offering a 4-day working week with a 3-day weekend every 4 weeks! Who are looking to appoint a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.

Diagnose faults and complete vehicle health checks to identify additional work.

Ensure all work is completed efficiently, to a high standard, and documented accurately.

Previous experience within a dealership or independent garage environment is advantageous.

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required.

A valid UK driving licence is essential.

The Package:

£40,000 basic salary depending on experience + bonus and overtime opportunities.

Hours: 4-Day Week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm, with one weekday off every week, plus only 1 in 4 Saturdays (8:30am–12:30pm) — giving you a 3-day weekend every 4 weeks.
