Service Advisor - Christchurch

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected motor trade business, seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their team. As the Service Advisor, you will play a pivotal role within the business, reporting directly to the owners and acting as the key link between customers and the workshop. This position would suit a confident and organised individual who thrives in a position of responsibility and enjoys being at the heart of daily operations.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing all service and maintenance enquiries from booking through to completion.

Liaise closely with the workshop to ensure smooth workflow, clear communication, and timely updates.

Provide accurate estimates, explanations of work required, and clear invoicing upon completion.

Deliver exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships and maintaining high satisfaction levels.

Manage job cards, bookings, and service records with strong attention to detail.

Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage workload independently.

The Package:

£28,000 – £32,000 Basic Salary (dependent on experience).
Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekend work.
Sole role with autonomy and direct reporting to the business owners.
