The Role:
Silcom Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill the dual role of Service Administrator / Controller at our esteemed client's dealership. Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to support an established motor trade dealership on the outskirts of Basingstoke?
As a Service Administrator / Controller, you will play a crucial part within the functioning of the aftersales department.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Administrator / Controller:
Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of the automotive industry is advantageous.
Controller:
Prepare internal sales job cards, ensuring they are workshop-ready.
Create comprehensive additional work reports, including accurate costings, and submit them to the sales manager.
Coordinate the organisation of parts and resources for sales manager-authorised additional work.
Collaborate with workshop control to refer additional sales repairs for efficient workshop loading.
Monitor and drive the progress of internal repairs, ensuring adherence to correct priority order.
Liaise with the workshop controller to guarantee seamless execution of internal repairs.
Process and invoice completed internal work, while effectively organizing paperwork, keys, and related items.
Service Administrator:
Initiate pre-visit contacts with customers, maximising pre-sale opportunities.
Monitor and promptly respond to web chat leads and inquiries in the leads inbox.
Perform follow-up contacts the day after customer visits, as well as reminders for surveys.
Contribute to service plan sales growth through effective customer follow-ups.
The Package:
£25,000 Basic salary [experience dependent] + Uncapped bonus!
Monday to Friday [8:30 – 17:30] + 1 hour lunch (NO WEEKENDS!)
