Sales Manager - Outskirts of Portsmouth

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment currently have a great opportunity available for a well-established family owned dealership group, with a site based on the outskirts of Portsmouth.

My client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Motor Trade Sales Manager to join the team based in Portsmouth. The successful candidate must have experience leading an established team.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the business forward by achieving sales targets across our new and used vehicles, finance and insurance products and accessories

Manage and motivate a team of sales executives, ensuring they are achieving their targets and providing excellent customer service

Monitor the sales process, ensuring customers are contacted in a timely manner and their requirements are understood and met

Manage and maintain the vehicle stock, ensuring an attractive and tidy display at all times

Promote and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring any issues are dealt with professionally and efficiently

Key Requirements:

Previous experience as a Motor Trade Sales Manager, ideally within a franchised dealer environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong leadership and motivational abilities

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Full UK driving license

The Package: 

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm with an hour for lunch. Saturday 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a day off in the week. No work on Sundays.

In return, they are offering a very attractive package, with a basic salary of £40,000 per year plus commission, a total package of £65,000 plus company car and other great benefits.
