Nightshift Workshop Supervisor - Andover

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are recruiting for a Nightshift Workshop Supervisor working for an established client of ours, based in Andover. Our client seeks an experienced individual to join the team.

Responsibilities of a Workshop Supervisor:

The role is hands on’ and you will be required to undertake periodic inspections, maintenance, repair and testing on a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles to DVSA & brand standards.

Effectively supervise and motivate a team of experienced and apprentice vehicle technicians to deliver outstanding service delivery to a variety of customers.

Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner to timescales.

Diagnosing vehicle faults and rectifying defects.

Carrying out 6 weekly inspections to fleet of vehicles.

Adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Current or previous experience of working as a Supervisor in a commercial vehicle workshop, or similar.

Proven track record of managing staff.

Ability to work calmly under pressure and manage a workshop.

Well-developed management and leadership skills.

Package:

£52,900 salary including weekly and supervisor shift allowances.

Hours - to be discussed at interview, 4 on 3 off pattern or Monday to Friday. Happy to be flexible around the successful applicant.
