MET Technician - Highcliffe

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment currently seek an experienced MET Technician for our client based in Highcliffe.

Our client is an established motor trade bodyshop group who represent sites along the south coast. This business now seeks an experienced MET Technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. 

Responsibilities & Requirements of a MET Technician:

Accurately and skilfully undertake the removal and replacement of mechanical, electrical and trim items on both passenger and commercial vehicles. Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repairs. 

Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines.

Ensure the highest standard of repairs are carried out to the manufacturer’s specification, specifically relating to fitting and trimming. Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repairs.

A suitable MET Technician would possess either a Level 3 technical qualification with an interest in transitioning their skills to the body shop environment, or prior experience in a transferable role within a body shop setting.

Package:

Salary Up to £48,000 (depending on experience)

Bonus – OTE to be discussed with the client directly

Monday – Friday - 42.5 hour working week.

No weekends!!
