Maternity Cover Assistant Management Accountant - Northampton

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment have a great opportunity and are recruiting on the behalf of an established motor trade organisation, with an established accounts function site based in Northampton.

Our client now seeks an experienced motor trade Assistant Accountant/ Trainee Management Accountant on a maternity cover contract for 9-12 months. This role is likely to become permanent thereafter.

The Responsibilities:

To produce regular and precise management accounts within the company deadlines

To be responsible for collating & checking weekly departmental forecasts

Prepare and submit manufacturer composite

Assist with internal and external auditors particularly at year end

Ensure the prompt, smooth and methodical flow of work

Candidate Attributes:

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to use these to reconcile data in an efficient manner

 Kerridge/ADP experience - Highly desired

Motor Trade experience - Highly desired

Current/ recent experience of working in an Assistant Accountant role, looking for progression and step up in responsibilities would be ideal for this position.

The Package:

 £30,000 starting salary.

Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm with 1 hour for lunch.
