Lighting Designer - Bognor Regis

The Role:

Are you a Lighting Designer looking for an exciting opportunity to build your career in the lighting design industry.

Our client, a dynamic lighting company are seeking a full-time, passionate and creative Junior Lighting Designer to join their office-based team in Bognor Regis. This role involves close collaboration with clients, designers, and architects, so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must. You'll need to be a team player, committed to meeting deadlines, and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Lighting Designer:

Contribute to the development of lighting schemes for commercial, industrial, domestic, and educational projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications and all calculations are accurate.

Utilise AutoCAD, Photoshop, and IES files in your design process. Experience with Relux or Dialux is a plus, as you'll be using these tools to create lighting designs for clients.

Regularly communicate with our external sales team and clients via telephone and email, ensuring smooth project coordination.

Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high accuracy in all tasks.

Experience with AutoCAD and Adobe Suite is essential.

Our client is also open to considering a Junior Designer from another industry who is eager to transition into lighting design, provided they have the right attitude and basic skill set.

Package:

Basic salary: £28,000 - £32,000 [depending on experience]!!

Hours: Monday – Friday [8:00am – 5:00pm] with a 30-minute lunch break!!
