The Role:
Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be collaborating with our Whiteley, Hampshire client who currently seek an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

This role will sit within a small finance team and support with transactional and month end responsibilities, reporting into the company Finance Manager.
Our client would welcome an experienced Accounts Assistant eager to step up, or an experienced Assistant Accountant seeking a new challenge.
Suitable candidate:
The Assistant Accountant will have prior transactional finance experience as well as some month end duties.
Strong attention to detail and comfortable being hands on and supporting the team.
Assist with the Sales Ledger & Purchase Ledger Billing
Assist with the reconciliations of large accounts
Complete the reconciliation of Sales Ledger invoice uploads into Oracle at month end.
Potential responsibility for reconciliation of some of the Balance sheet accounts.
Excel – Pivot Tables & Vlookup
The Package:
£30,000 - £35,000 starting salary

Monday to Friday – 9:00 – 5:30 (Flexible around these hours)
