Assistant Accountant - Swindon

The Role:

A superb opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join an established franchise car dealership group, with a site based around the outskirts of Swindon.

Our client is seeking an Assistant Accountant with experience of working within the motor trade, ideally at car dealership level. The ideal individual will be an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for their next step up, or a current Assistant Accountant who is seeking a new challenge. 

This in a fast paced opportunity that will eventually grow from Assistant Accountant into a full Dealership Accountant position.

Responsibilities:

Support the current Dealership Accountant in the production of various financial documents.

Account reconciliations

Accounts payable

Working closely with the Dealership Accountant - You will also provide administration assistance, generating reports, budget review, VAT return and more.

You will preferably be AAT qualified, or studying AAT

The Package:

£22K - £25K Starting salary - Experience dependant. 40-hour week, 22 days’ holiday plus bank holidays. Superb company benefits.
