





The Role:
We are delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated Alloy Wheel Technician to join a fast-paced and growing vehicle refurbishment workshop based in Chichester. Reporting to the General Manager of this dealership, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced wheel specialist—or an experienced tyre fitter looking to transition into a more specialist role—to be trained and developed in a highly skilled environment.
This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of vehicles and be part of a professional team delivering high-quality alloy wheel refurbishment and cosmetic repair services.
Responsibilities:
Carry out all aspects of alloy wheel repair and refurbishment work
Work in an organised and efficient manner to meet daily workshop targets
Maintain a high standard of finish and quality control on all work completed
Communicate with service advisors and team members regarding additional work identified
Complete job cards accurately, providing full descriptions of work carried out
Ensure customer vehicles are ready within agreed timeframes
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety procedures
Handle vehicles with care and professionalism at all times
Read and understand technical specifications and documentation relevant to the role
Experience & Skills:
Previous experience in alloy wheel refurbishment is desirable, but not essential
Strong background in tyre fitting will be considered – full training provided for the right candidate
Full UK driving licence – essential
High attention to detail with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Organised, proactive and able to manage workload effectively
A flexible, “can-do” attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of workshop safety standards and procedures
Package & Benefits:
Salary: £32,000 per annum
On Target Earnings: Up to £38,000 with bonus
Working hours: 42.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00 (1 in 2 rota)
Holiday: 22 days per year plus bank holidays
