Aftersales Manager - Outskirts of Portsmouth

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment seek an experienced Aftersales Manager to join an established motor trade dealership group, with a site based around the outskirts of Portsmouth. This is a superb opportunity to join a growing, yet highly profitable business.

Our client seeks an experienced Aftersales Manager, to oversee the service department as well as the management and development of two Service Advisors. You will also oversee four Technicians and one apprentice.

Duties will include:

A complete understanding of Aftersales process’ in a modern dealership.

To liaise with company representatives to maintain manufacturer standard requirements & KPI targets.

Ideally you will have experience with volume automotive brands.

Must have the drive and determination to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction with the overall objective of increasing turnover and profit to exceed set budgets.

To have a hands-on approach to manage, motivate and train staff to ensure the growth and development of the departments.

Create, agree and control sales, merchandising, advertising and sales promotion plans to support the achievement of Service & Parts department plans and budgets.

Relevant Experience & Qualifications Required:

Current/recent automotive Aftersales Management experience is essential.

Experience of working with a main dealer would be advantageous

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate how they have consistently delivered an above budget financial performance.

The Package:

£30,000 basic starting salary

£40,000 - £45,000 OTE – Based on 5% profit of the service and parts department

Company car + Fuel (Private & Business use)

Monday to Friday – 8:00 – 5:30 - 1-3 Saturday mornings – 8:00 – 12:30

22 days’ holiday + Bank Holidays
