Accounts Assistant - Stafford

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment currently have a great opportunity available for an experienced Accounts Assistant for an established client of ours based in Stafford.

This role would suit an “all-rounder” – someone willing to fulfil the role duties day-to-day. As well as an individual with longer-term aspirations to progress.

Responsibilities & Requirements for an Accounts Assistant:

Daily cash posting from bank statements.

Daily and monthly bank reconciliations.

Accounts payable.

Accounts receivable.

Printing remittances, manufacturer paperwork and funding paperwork for posting.

Raise queries with purchase or sales ledger as they arise.

Assisting the accountant and Financial Controller with other general accounts tasks.

Motor trade experience advantageous but not essential.

Salary:

£25,000 - £26,000 Basic Salary (Experience Dependent).

Hours: Monday to Friday [9:00am – 5:00pm] with half an hour lunch.
