Workshop Manager - Melksham

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join a well-established motor trade business, based in Melksham.

This is a hands-on role, and applications are encouraged from individuals with a strong mechanical background, proven workshop management experience, and the ability to lead a successful team while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring efficiency and profitability.

Lead, motivate, and support a team of technicians and service staff.

Carry out mechanical duties when required, ensuring work is completed to high standards.

Manage workflow, allocate jobs, and monitor work quality.

Maintain strong customer communication and resolve issues effectively.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards.

Relevant mechanical qualifications and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

The Package:

Basic Salary: Up to £46,000 (experience dependent)

Monday to Friday only, 8:30am – 5:30pm (no weekends)
