Workshop Controller - Southampton

The Role:

Are you a Workshop Controller with expertise in parts advising or ordering? Silcom Recruitment are on the hunt for an experienced Workshop Controller to join one of our well established clients based in Southampton.

The ideal candidate would be an established Senior Service Advisor ready to advance to the next level in their career and take on a role that combines workshop control and parts responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Workshop Controller:

Oversee day-to-day operations and workload of workshop technicians.

Keep customers informed about their vehicle's status on a regular basis.

Possess a strong understanding of commercial vehicles, body repair methods, and manufacturer guidelines.

Ensure effective management of health and safety measures within the workshop.

Act as a liaison between the aftersales team and the workshop.

Package:

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 [experience dependent] + bonus [circa £35,000]!!

Hours: Mon – Fri [8:00am – 5:30pm].

Saturdays (1-in-3) [8:30am – 12:30pm].
