Vehicle Technician - Portsmouth

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are searching for a talented Vehicle Technician and MOT tester to join a team of technical experts at our client’s specialist facilities in Portsmouth.

The Vehicle Technician / MOT tester taking on this challenge will be joining a standout company, aiding to provide a high standard of vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs and MOT testing. All the while, our client will continue to offer you advanced training and qualifications for advanced Vehicle Technician duties.

The day-to-day duties you will be carrying out as a Vehicle Technician are as follows:

To be considered for the role, you will ideally be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or hold equivalent qualifications.

If you have experience with MOT testing, running diagnostics or hold higher qualifications – there are many significant benefits!

A Full UK Driving Licence

The ability to communicate with customers effectively

A sound Mechanical knowledge

Ideally you will have experience in the following:

Engine Changes

EGR Valve Changes

DPF Work

Diesel Diagnostics

The Package:

Basic salary from £27,000 - £33,000 per annum [dependant on experience]

+ Salary reviews [performance monitoring provided]

Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 5.00pm [FULL-TIME]
