Vehicle Technician - Birmingham

Silcom Recruitment are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a multi-franchise dealer group based in Birmingham. My client has a strong reputation as a high-quality dealer and specialist within the industry.  

The ideal candidate should hold either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in vehicle mechanics or equivalent and have relevant experience within a garage environment.

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.

Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.

Use diagnostic equipment and tools to troubleshoot and fix issues accurately.

Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used.

Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needed.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on vehicles.

Package:

Basic Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 [depending on experience] + £4,600 UNCAPPED Bonus!!!

Overtime available and paid at time and a half!

Hours: Monday to Friday [8:00am – 5:00pm] + 30-minute lunch break!

Saturdays on a rota basis [paid as overtime]!
