Service Advisor - Poole

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded automotive business based in Poole. Our client is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy and friendly aftersales team.

Operating within a long-established, family-run automotive business with an excellent reputation for customer service, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join a professional and supportive working environment.

Working from a busy Service Centre, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a smooth, transparent and professional experience throughout their vehicle's service, MOT or repair journey.

Responsibilities of a Service Advisor:

Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle's service, MOT or repair journey.

Book vehicles into the workshop and coordinate appointments efficiently.

Liaise closely with technicians and workshop colleagues to ensure work progresses smoothly and customers are kept informed.

Provide clear and accurate estimates for servicing, maintenance and repair work.

Explain any additional work identified and obtain customer authorisation where required.

Prepare invoices and clearly explain completed work and associated costs to customers.

Promote and upsell additional products, maintenance and services where appropriate.

Manage customer expectations and provide regular updates regarding vehicle progress.

Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained from initial booking through to vehicle collection.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, technicians and colleagues across the business.

The Package:

Salary: £36,000 Basic + bonus - £40,000 OTE!

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm or 8:30am – 6:00pm – No Weekends!!
