Service Manager - Portsmouth

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Service Manager to join a well-established and growing independent business, based in the Portsmouth area.

Our client is offering an excellent opportunity for a driven and experienced Service Manager to lead a busy workshop operation within a customer-focused business. This role offers excellent earning potential, uncapped monthly bonuses, and the opportunity to make a real impact within a successful and expanding company.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

Oversee the day-to-day running of the service department, ensuring the workshop operates efficiently and profitably.

Manage, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and service advisors, maintaining high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.

Plan and coordinate workshop schedules, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and within agreed timescales.

Monitor departmental KPIs, labour sales, efficiency, and profitability, implementing improvements where required.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, delivering exceptional levels of service and handling any escalated queries professionally.

Ensure compliance with all health & safety legislation, company procedures, and industry standards.

Work closely with senior management to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and business growth.

The Package:

£45,000 Basic Salary

£800 per month uncapped bonus

25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 6:00pm, no weekends.
