Vehicle Technician - Aldershot

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a family-run dealership known for its commitment to excellent customer service and offering a wide selection of new and used vehicles. This is a rare opportunity within a dealership environment offering Monday to Friday hours only!! Based in Aldershot, the ideal candidate will have current or previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a preference for those who have worked in a main dealership environment. 

Responsibilities & Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Carry out routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles.

Diagnose vehicle faults and recommend necessary repairs.

Perform MOT testing (if qualified) and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure timely completion of all jobs.

Keep up-to-date with the latest technology and industry standards.

Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.

Level 3 qualification is ideal, but we are open to candidates with equivalent experience and skills.

The Package:

Basic Salary: Up to £38,000 (depending on experience/qualifications) + uncapped bonus

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
