LCV/HGV Vehicle Technician - Ferndown

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity available for a LCV/HGV Vehicle Technician to join a client of ours, based in Ferndown. Our client is in search of a skilled LCV/HGV Vehicle Technician with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities & Requirements Of An LCV/HGV Vehicle Technician:

Perform routine maintenance tasks on LCVs and HGVs according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.

Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests using specialised tools and equipment to identify problems accurately.

Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and labour hours, for documentation and billing purposes.

Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues, repair options, and estimated costs.

Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to troubleshoot complex problems and find effective solutions.

Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure efficiency and productivity in daily operations.

Package:

Up to £18.00 per hour!

Monday to Friday hours [7:30am – 5:30pm] + Overtime on Saturdays!

(1-in-3) Saturdays [7:30am – 1:00pm].

30 days holiday (including bank holidays) + the ability to work on your own vehicles.
