HGV Technician - Bicester

The Role – HGV Technician:

At this time, Silcom Recruitment are aiding one of our specialist clients in their search for experienced HGV Technicians to join their freshly established workshop.

Your Mission – “To repair and service commercial vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidance and current industry standards, ensuring that you utilise the most time efficient, cost-effective and safe method of working.”

Our client is currently going through an exceptional growth period and has an extreme output of work in their HGV division. As an experienced HGV Technician, you would be working in a busy and challenging environment, establishing yourself as a valued professional and fellow specialist.

Responsibilities & Requirements of an HGV Technician:

To ensure that all HGV’s that are on site to be repaired, are treated with respect and care

Complete all vehicle repair and maintenance records as required at the end of a repair/service in clear detail.

Diagnose vehicle faults as required, ensuring if relevant, latest technology is used.

Servicing vehicles – carrying out checks and maintenance according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components.

Advising the Service Receptionists about required repairs.

Producing time estimates.

Maintaining repair and service records.

Occasional Service/Breakdown call outs

Package:

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 [dependant on experience]

+ Including Bonus & other benefits

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm + Overtime
