Finance Manager - Southampton

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on an exclusive basis, on behalf of an owner led, growing used car dealer group. This is a superb opportunity to join a growing, profitable and established business.

Our client seeks an experienced, accomplished Dealership Accountant/Management Accountant who might wish to step up into a finance lead position. Tasked with overseeing multiple sites within the group, with a proven motor trade background, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts function, producing the key management information, reporting directly into the hands-on owners.

Based in the Southampton area, our client is a profitable company, with an annual turnover of £20million+ and are eager to speak with suitably qualified applicants. 

Duties will include:

Full responsibility for the accounts function

Bank reconciliation (daily)

Timely preparation of monthly management accounts

Calculation and submission of quarterly VAT returns

Assist in preparation of monthly payroll for circa 50+ staff

The Package:

£35,000 - £40,000 Basic Starting Salary + Company Car
