Area Vehicle Technician - Southampton

The Role:

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing independent motor trade business with multiple sites, seeking to add an Area Vehicle Technician to their team, based in Southampton.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Vehicle Technician looking for a varied and rewarding role - offering excellent work-life balance with no weekend working required.

You will support the wider group by providing diagnostic and technical expertise across several sites, ensuring vehicle repairs and maintenance are completed to a high standard.

A fully equipped company van is provided, and you'll be based primarily in Southampton, with travel to other group locations as required.

Requirements & Responsibilities of an Area Vehicle Technician:

Carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across multiple sites

Support in-house technicians with technical queries and complex jobs

Work independently, managing your own time and travel schedule

Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to business standards

Deliver a high standard of customer service and workshop support

The Ideal Candidate:

Level 3 qualification or equivalent required, with proven experience within a workshop.

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to travel between sites

Confident communicator and self-motivated team player

Strong technical knowledge with a proactive approach

Package:

Basic salary of up to £42,000!!

Monday to Friday only (8:00am to 6:00pm) – no weekends

Company van included, with travel costs covered.
