Accounts Assistant - Salisbury

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside a long-term client to aid them in their search for an Assistant Accountant for their Salisbury based dealership.  

Our client is willing to accommodate an experienced Accounts Assistant who is looking to step up in their career. While experience in the motor trade is preferred, it's not obligatory; previous experience will also be considered.

Role and Responsibilities of an Assistant Accountant:

Daily Cashflow Reconciliation

Bank Transaction Posting

Bank Account Reconciliation

Handling Vehicle and Ad hoc Payments

Group-wide Receipt Checking Vehicle Adoption Audit

Bonus Debit/Credit Note Posting

Fuel Recharge Management

Retail Dealership Transactions

Monthly Parts Plus Invoice Handling

Petty Cash Management and Reconciliation

Vehicle Creditors Oversight

Finance Settlement Processing

Vehicle Sales Ledger Review

Proficiency in Excel and automotive systems

Training will be provided!

The Package: 

Salary: £28,000 per annum (potentially negotiable)

Hours: [Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week] generally 8:30am-5:00pm with a 1-hour break | Hybrid working is available for TWO days per week!
