





The Role:
A Workshop Controller is required at one of our well established clients who are looking for an additional member of staff to join an imperative role within the business.
As a Workshop Controller you will need to be a self-motivated, strong team manager with technical experience or transferable workshop control skills to work in their impressive establishment based in Southampton.
The day-to-day duties you will be carrying out as a Workshop Controller are as follows:
Manage the day-to-day operations and workload of workshop technicians.
Ensure customers are regularly updated on the status of their vehicle.
A strong understanding of commercial vehicles, body repair methods, and manufacturer guidelines is beneficial – having knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicles is an added advantage.
Provide technical support to workshop and service advisors.
Ensure workshop health and safety measures are effectively managed.
Efficiently managing technicians' schedules, fulfilling customer needs, and optimizing workshop productivity and profitability.
Package:
Basic of Salary £35,000 + bonus with an OTE of £39,500.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in a leadership or management role.
